After a civil lawsuit in Dallas, I finally switched to the execution of the penal code in 2001. I served as a prosecutor in Travis County a year before I accepted the criminal defense. For a year, I trained my skills under the guidance of another lawyer, started self-study practice in 2004, and realized my dream. I'm proud to say that I've never spent a day advertising, and I've been busy practicing just by word of mouth. I couldn't make this success by introduction unless I had a reputation for going to the mat for all my customers. Like my friends and family, I'm trying to treat my customers, considering the depth of compassion for their situation and the level of commitment to their principles.

I handle all levels of criminal cases in the state trial. Most of my work is spent defending those accused of DWIs, violent family violence, drug cases, theft and sexual crimes. Because there are many other individual charges that you will cover regularly, you should consult with them regardless of the type of violation. I grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and graduated from UNC in 1996. I went to the University of Virginia Faculty of Law in 1999 and got my first job at Guarderet in Dallas, Texas. I loved people who worked at the same company, but I always knew that penal law was my clear passion. I had the good fortune to meet my husband in Dallas and have a chance to move to Austin in 2001. Since then, I have worked in criminal law. We have two beautiful children, and we hope for good in Austin.
