Though it is hard to pinpoint where the storms will appear, there's a possibility for heavy rain, said Bob Fogerty, a meteorologist for the weather service. Isolated rain chances range from 20% to 30% from Tuesday evening into Wednesday evening. After Wednesday, rain chances will drop, and drier conditions will ensue. The rest of the week will see sunny skies, according to the forecast.
Daily highs will range from 90 to 98 degrees, with heat indexes spanning from 97 to 103 degrees, marginally higher than the average for this time of year, Fogerty said. Daily lows will drop into the low to mid-70s.
