Now in its fifth year, the Blanton Bake-Off returns, calling amateur and professional bakers alike to recreate artworks from the Blanton Museum of Art's collection.

Hosted virtually by the renowned museum, this beloved annual event celebrates creativity and culinary skills, welcoming participants of all ages and expertise.

Since its inception in 2020, the Blanton Bake-Off has garnered widespread acclaim. Over 70 submissions and thousands of online voters crown the winners each year.

Bakers from Central Texas and beyond are encouraged to craft edible interpretations of artworks from the museum's extensive collection, spanning from cookies and cakes to bread and savory pies.

For those seeking inspiration, the Blanton Museum invites participants to explore its collection in person or online.

Entries will be accepted across Under-18, Adult Amateur, and Adult Professional.

Bakers can submit images of their creations via email at [email protected] or by tagging @BlantonMuseum and using #BlantonBakeOff on Instagram or Facebook.

The excitement culminates on World Baking Day, Friday, May 17, when a public vote on Blanton's social media pages will determine the winners in each category. The victorious bakers will be announced the following week.

This year, the prizes are even more enticing, featuring a gift card to Austin's renowned Quack’s Bakery and Easy Tiger and a Sustaining Membership package to the Blanton, totaling over $250 in value.
