The women's javelin B section event saw a new personal record throw of 164-5, the second-longest in school history, and she moved to No. 7 on the NCAA East Qualifying list. Distance runner, who finished in the men's 1500m A section with a time of 3:46.98, moved him to be No. 1 in the Southland Conference rankings and 10 in the NCAA Eastern Qualifying. Both recorded a new PR in the event with Barcenas placing fourth with a time of 4:35.08 while Gilory finished in sixth place at 4:36.48.The meet continues on Friday with several McNeese athletes in action including the men's and women's 4x100 and 4x400 relays as well as the sprint and distance medley relays,in the men's shot put B section,in the women's 100m timed final, Keon Beavers andin the men's 100m timed final.
