The U-17’s journey begins Sunday night, June 16 with a Round of 32 match against LA Galaxy U-17 (8:30 p.m. CT). While that match is not streamed, if the Verde & Black progress, multiple games of each round will be available to watch on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
Austin qualified for the MLS NEXT Cup Playoffs by defeating Houston Dynamo U-17 3-0 in a decider match last weekend, after the two teams finished tied in the regular season standings.
The tournament is structured as a single elimination event. Austin will need to win six consecutive matches to lift the title. Each team at the tournament is guaranteed a minimum of three matches, meaning teams knocked out in the Round of 32 or Round of 16 enter the Showcase portion of the event.
